Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a component naturally present in connective tissues (skin, cartilage, cornea, etc.). This sugar from the glycosaminoglycan (GAG) family plays a fundamental role in the skin since, like an ultra-absorbent sponge, it captures water in the dermis, up to 1000x its molecular weight and retains it deep in the skin. From the age of 20, the concentration of hyaluronic acid, naturally present in the skin, tends to decrease.
Its presence in optimal quantity is therefore essential to give the skin hydration, plumper, softer, firmer texture, and a rebound effect. It also promotes repair of the skin barrier and helps correct the appearance of signs of aging. The complexion regains its homogeneity and radiance.
The combination of high and low molecular weight of hyaluronic acid provides an optimal effect on the skin. Niacinamide also known as vitamin B3, vitamin PP or nicotinamide, is part of the group of B-complex vitamins.
